This is what BabyCenter says about my baby this week!
UM, SERIOUSLY, A MINI WATERMELON?! Does that not sound unreal to you?!?Your baby's waiting to greet the world! He continues to build a layer of fat to help control his body temperature after birth, but it's likely he already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds, a mini watermelon. (Boys tend to be slightly heavier than girls.) The outer layers of his skin are sloughing off as new skin forms underneath.

The only thing I can think about at this point is my constant prayer that God protects us during the labor that could be any day now and that God please let him be healthy and happy.
On Monday I lost my mucus plug, which could mean labor is hours, days or weeks away so it really means nothing but it was certainly a milestone that I proceeded to freak out about a little! The rest of the week has been low key though. Some dull cramping later in the days but nothing special. I've been working from home all this week, I'm so relieved to be just 10 minutes from the hospital and knowing Nick is 10 minutes from home/hospital as well.
We had a new mattress delivered this morning. SO excited but nervous that my water will break while in the new bed now! I think we're going to put plastic under the sheet just in case!
So get this before and after picture! Here's me with my first belly pic at 8 weeks and now at 39 weeks. CUHRAZY!

Let's see if we make it to 40 weeks - just a few days left! I'm off to the doctor's now so we'll see what kind of progress has been made, if any!
